patches

These jeans have been good to me. I wore them so much, my knee had started to peek through. I'm not ready to say goodbye to them yet. This morning I patched them with fabric that sings of spring. I used an iron on adhesive and then went around with a zig-zag stitch. The trickiest part was getting the fabric through the sewing machine with out sewing my pants together. (I had to do a little unpicking.) A little Punky Brewster?, okay, yes. Perfect for working in the garden, cleaning, painting, playing with Malcolm?, yes, yes, yes, and yes.

SO yesterday I realized I may be a chocoholic. Starting off the day with chocolate, chocolate throughout, a headache brought on by too much chocolate, eating a little chocolate to help take the edge off... I need help. Chocolate should be enjoyable, not like this.

What? Eating chocolate all day is a problem? I never got that memo.

I love these! Hey guess what - random comment - but today I took an online quiz. It asked me to name a person that reminded me of the color orange. So I thought of you. And the interpretation of orange and you equal, a true friend. That's what it told me. Very neat, huh?

I heart Punky Brewster.
I also have a choc-addiction. Sometimes I think it's worth the belly and hips, and other times I think: "WHY can't I stop eating this stuff?"

Amy Jane, if I were to chose my poison it would be Dr. Pepper but I kicked that can years ago. Diet Coke is yucky yuck to me. I'll stick to the chocolate, but see if I can apply the less is more and quality over quantity principals.
